It started in Budapest in December 2010. Hanne from Norway and Marianne from Germany traveled to a "partnership seminar" in Hungary. The goal was to find a partner that wanted to work on the same issues.
The first thing we had to do on the seminar was to present food from our region. Here you can see what the regions presented as typical food from their location.
After we had tasted each other, it was time to talk to each other. It was time for speed dating. We had seven minutes with each region to try to find a match..
Hanne from Norway is not impressed by some guys from the UK...
But finally...we found each other...
First meeting between Hanne and Marianne. We found out that we had a lot in common. We were from rural regions, close proximity to nature and mountains and wanted to develop more practical teaching methods using environmental approaches.
Here you can see Marianne and Hanne starting to work on the application for the Comenius Regio programe..
The application was completed and submitted in february. In summer we both got the happy message; you got the funding. It's just to get ready to european cooperation and friendship!
